THE
FEZ

The
Fez

‘And who are these dorky looking guys?’ I hear you intone.
This is The Fez, replete with Fez-type head apparel, not
really trying to look anything other than off their faces
with conspicuous success.
From the left is Bill the Inevitable, ex-Crowdie Paul
Hester, Barry the bassist (it’ll-come-to-me-soon-ah-yes
Stockley), with one of his recent arrivals (whose name
completely eludes me) unconscious on his knee – and Mike.

We fooled around and recorded a bit in Paul’s studio on
Paul’s Gentlemen’s Evenings and even played a gig or two,
the most memorable of which was on Hessie’s Shed, a TV
series devised by Paul and shown on ABC TV a few years
ago.
