Is that all there is?

Mike’s
Pith & Wind cont.

But I’m getting less sure that I’ve got the time. Film stars and musicians I
grew up with are dropping of the coil daily. Friends and acquaintances, family
– there’s hardly a day goes by when I don’t hear of somebody I knew being menaced
by or succumbing to various forms of foreclosure. Mr Death is palpably undiscriminating
and inexorable. Not to mention inevitable. Ross Wilson was right when he sang
all those years ago (on ‘You’ve All Got To Go’, the world’s most unlikely single
release way back in 1968 with the Party Machine) ‘You’ve all gotta go, sooner
or later, and I hope that it’s later for me..’ (Check out the lyrics in full
on the History page).
Instead of buggering round with music and fiddling my time away on the ‘Net,
maybe I should get serious and knuckle down and write my will..
