.. after the game. Anyway the gig went well – I wore a TONY SHAW mask
during the 1st set and after the gig rushed home and watched the replay and
partied on!
I’ve also been there the last two GF’s – OUCH! I had a gig
on with Spectrum after the 2002 and I felt so drained. I played the blues well
that night. Last year I didn’t have a gig on I just went home and sulked.
To make things worse this year I’ve been offered free tix to the GF –
bugger!!!
I’m not sure who to barrack for – I’d like to see the Lions
do it ’cause of their Vic history – and they bloody deserve it, but I don’t
want them equalling the Pies’ record.
And, as a kid I kind of barracked for Port Adelaide as well because of their
jumper and being the Magpies.
Well, I hope it’s a good game. I’ll have fun in the van listening
to it anyway, and I actually love Rutherglen. It’s a beautiful part of
Vic, the Shamrock’s a great gig, and Karen & Gerard (the owners) are
just fantastic.
Bye for now

GO PIES!!
Go the Winners!

Dick’s Toolbox cont. ..real winner. I wandered into this musical genre through Stephen May, who learnt guitar from Gary Young.
